RaukCard AB is Sweden's leading grading company, based on Gotland and founded by me, Martin Andreasson.
Since 2017, we have acted as an intermediary for PSA mailings to Swedish collectors, and in 2021 we started offering our own grading service. We have currently graded almost 15,000 cards since the start and are growing steadily. My passion for collector's cards started as a hobby, but over the years has developed into a company that offers a variety of services for collectors in Sweden. Since 2014, I have been collecting cards full-time and thus have over 10 years of experience working daily with collectible images.

What is grading and why should you grade?
Grading is the process by which a collectible card is judged based on its condition and authenticity. This involves a careful examination of the card's surface, corners, edges and centering, followed by sealing the card in a protective holder with a rating label.
Grading your cards can increase their value and ensure they are kept in optimal condition over time. It is also a way to authenticate the card, which is especially important for collectors and investors.
The grading process at RaukCard is carefully designed to ensure that each card receives a fair and accurate assessment. When a card arrives, it is removed from its toploader and an initial check of authenticity is made. If the card is in a dirty sleeve, this is replaced with a new one.
During grading, the card is evaluated based on four main categories: Surface, Corners, Edges and Centering. The cards are examined under various lighting conditions, including bright globe light, trailing light and UV light, and carefully inspected with an LED-illuminated magnifying glass. Any thumbprints or dust are removed with a microfiber cloth, and the card is carefully checked for hidden defects.
Each sub-grade is noted and stored in our database before the label is printed, and the card is then sealed with an ultrasonic seal in our acid-free polystyrene holder. This process ensures that the cards are securely sealed and tamper proof.
